I Want To Be Foundation is a community-driven charity foundation in Tanzania dedicated to supporting orphanage centers with genuine and urgent needs.
Our mission is simple:
To serve where help is truly needed and to ensure no orphanage is left behind.

In addition, whenever urgent needs arise in orphanage centers, we organize additional support initiatives to respond quickly and responsibly.

How We Select Orphanages
We follow a structured and ethical selection process:
1️⃣ Research & Evaluation
Before any charity event, we conduct thorough research to identify orphanage centers with specific and urgent needs.
2️⃣ Needs Assessment
We evaluate:

Living conditions

Access to food and water
-
Education support
-
Safety and infrastructure
3️⃣ Focus on the Overlooked
One of our core principles is:
We prioritize orphanage centers that do not have regular donors or external support.
While some orphanages receive continuous funding, others struggle in silence.
We focus on those with real and unmet needs.
4️⃣ Community Mobilization
After identifying their needs, we:

Present them to partners, friends, and supporters

Our Recent Charity Programs
FIRST CHARITY EVENT – March 2025
In March 2025, we conducted our first outreach of the year at Kibowa Orphanage Center, where we spent time with 32 children.
What We Provided:

🛏 Bedding and essential living items

📚 School materials
-
💵 Financial support for daily needs
Kibowa has since become part of our extended family. We continue walking alongside them to support the dreams and futures of their children.
Their Major Need Identified:
Access to clean and reliable water.
After identifying this challenge, we presented the need to various supporters to mobilize assistance toward a sustainable water solution.
SECOND CHARITY EVENT – 21 June 2025
Hope Evangelistic Ministry
Our second outreach took place on 21 June 2025 at Hope Evangelistic Ministry – Sanya Juu.
This initiative focused on both immediate relief and long-term development.
Contributions Included:

Food items

School supplies

20 bags of cement
-
2 truckloads of sand
-
Support toward construction work
-
A shared day of cooking, meals, and mentorship
Their Major Need Identified:
Construction of a protective perimeter wall for security.
Our support contributed to strengthening both their current living conditions and future safety.
THIRD CHARITY EVENT – 06 December 2025
“WHO WANTS TO JOIN THEM?”
Tarangire National Park
On 06 December 2025, I Want To Be Foundation hosted a unique charity experience inside Tarangire National Park.
This special initiative aimed to:

Give orphaned children the rare opportunity to visit a national park
-
Provide essential school supplies in preparation for the January school term
Participation Fee:
-
TZS 50,000 – Adults
-
TZS 35,000 – Children
Contribution Includes:
✔ Transport
✔ Meals
✔ Drinks
✔ Tarangire entry fee
✔ Direct support for orphaned children
Their Major Need Identified:
The orphanage currently lives in a rented house and urgently needs support to build a permanent home of their own.
This long-term goal remains one of our active fundraising priorities.
